Holi 2027 (होली) is one of India’s most loved Hindu festivals. Known as the Festival of Colours, it welcomes spring with colour play, music, sweets, and time spent with family and friends. In many homes, celebrations begin the evening before with Holika Dahan—a ritual bonfire linked to the story of Prahlad and the triumph of devotion over fear. The next day, often called Rangwali Holi or Dhulandi, people greet one another with gulal, share festive foods such as gujiya, and visit loved ones.
